1 inch = 25.4 mm
example: 25.4 / 4 = 6.35 mm = 1/4"

1 ft. = 0.3048 m
example: 5 m / 0.3048 = 16.4 ft.

Formula for weight calculation of stainless steel tubes
 

OD - WALL x WALL x 24.66 / 1000 = kg/m
example: OD 6 mm x ID 5 mm x WALL 0.5 mm
6 - 0.5 x 0.5 x 24.66 / 1000 = 0.068 kg/m
